Pagi2, dah sampe kantor krn ngos2-an semlm habis benerin komputer tetangga di rumah....lagi asyik buka blog buat nge-cek hasil tambahan pernak-pernik biar tambah cantik.

Untuk mem-format hardisk di linux, pertama-pertama di check dulu apakah terdeteksi atau tidak di Linux yang sudah terpasang di komputer sebelumnya.
root@cyberthug:~# fdisk -l

Terlihat ada hardisk 40.0 GB, di atas terlihat dengan /dev/sdb : 40.0 GB, 40020664320 bytessetelah terdeteksi mount secara manual dengan perintah :
root@cyberthug:~# mount -o rw /dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1
jika folder hdb1 blm ada bisa di buat dulu dengan perintah :
root@cyberthug:~# mkdir /mnt/hdb1
Untuk mounting secara otomatis di saat boot edit file fstab pada folder /etc, dan tambahkan baris dengan kode berikut ini :
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1 rw 1 1
Penulis memformat hardisk dengan file system ext3 ;
# mke2fs -j /dev/hdb1
file system ext2 ;
# mke2fs /dev/hdb1
file system reiser;
# mkreiserfs /dev/hdb1
untuk memastikan hasil dari format ketikkan kode berikut ;
# mount -v -o rw /dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1
Reboot komputer.....done

create dulu dulu dgn fdisk exam : fdisk /dev/sdb baca help nya n ikuti aturan.
setelah itu ketik mkfs.[partisi] /dev/sdb[no yg di buat di fdisk] exam : mkfs.reiserfs /dev/sdb1
trus create di fstab
trus mount -a dech.
maaf bila salah,ini cuman masukan n alternatif selain cara di atas.
